It is only the second handset of it’s kind following the LG Optimus 3D which launched earlier this year, but with underwhelming results.
It is also coming soon in white, hitting the American market on September 9th. White is certainly the trend at the moment following the likes of the iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S II.

More About the HTC EVO 3D Smartphone
So first off, what is actually three-dimensional on the handset? Thanks to dual cameras you can capture videos and photographs in 3D, and you don’t need any glasses to see the effect. You can also watch movies and 3D YouTube clips!
The smartphone has a high-resolution 4.3″ display making everything look crisp and vivid. It has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor making it nice and speedy and is currently powered by Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0.
One cool feature I noticed was; if you are on contract and worried about your data allowance, and like to travel about, you can download maps to your phones memory and then navigate around with them – saving the need to use any of your data because it is all downloaded.
The design is very simple and smart consistent with other offerings from the company. The handset weighs just 170g and the measurements are as follows: 126mm x 65mm x 12.05mm.
